The Cagle Family

 

David and Zoe Anne are the proud parents of two wonderful children: their daughter, Merritt and their son, Hunter.  The Cagles enjoy swimming, snow skiing and snow boarding, camping, board games, the beach, tennis, and watching good movies together.

Merritt especially enjoys singing and drama.  She was one of the von Trapp children in a Community College production of the Sound of Music, and she played the part of Dorothy in her Middle School’s production of the Wizard of Oz.  Merritt enjoys playing the French horn and marching with her High School band,  She is also very actively involved with our high school youth group.

Hunter especially enjoys sports of all varieties.  Football, baseball, golf, and tennis are his particular favorites.  When he is not playing sports, Hunter enjoys watching ESPN Sports Center.  Hunter plays the drums in his middle school band, and he is actively involved with our middle school youth group.

Zoe Anne grew up in Southern Pines, North Carolina.  She is a graduate of Davidson College and received her Masters of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary.  After working for several years in youth ministry and Christian education, Zoe Anne changed careers and went into fulltime parenting.  She is actively involved with the P.T.A., a stage crew member for all of Merritt’s plays, and a vocal cheerleader for Hunter’s athletic games.  Zoe Anne enjoys tennis, horseback riding, pottery, cooking, and spending time with friends.  She is also actively involved with our church’s Youth Ministry Program, as an Adult Advisor.
