Our Facilities
Sanctuary

Our sanctuary, which comfortably seats 600, features a full range pipe organ, balcony seating, an audio system and beautifully hand crafted wood decor. The many large windows provide a bright yet serene setting for our 11:00 Sunday morning service.
Designed in the early 1940s by church member and architect Allen Dryden, Sr., the sanctuary has been renovated with care to maintain its original architectural grandeur. It is available for baptisms, weddings and memorial services. To inquire, please contact Roseann Wells.

Chapel
With seating for 100 guests, the Chapel at First Presbyterian is an intimate worship setting. On the main floor, it is the location of the early Sunday service which begins at 8:45 a.m.
Youth Rooms
Several cleverly designed and uniquely equipped rooms are enjoyed by youth of all ages. Here, they participate in fellowship and Christian education activities or just drop by to read, watch television, play table tennis and billiards or simply relax.
Church Library
Located on the main floor of the church, the First Presbyterian adult library contains a broad selection of books, magazines and publications. Conveniently cataloged and displayed, library materials are easy to access, preview and check out.
The library also offers a wealth of materials for personal Bible Study, Sunday school class preparation. New Testament volumes of THE NEW DAILY STUDY BIBLE have recently been added to the library’s collection as have several single volume study bibles.
In addition there is a wide variety of histories, biographies and fiction and non-fiction books available to be checked out. The very large private collection, which John Sanders donated to the church, has been processed and will be on available on in mid-April 2006.
Future plans for our library include relocation of our video collection from the resource center to the library and a fun new concept for fiction.
Children’s Library

The children’s library is a recent development at our church. It is a dedicated room on the second floor, brightly decorated and furnished especially for your younger readers. The multi-use space features tables for crafts and games, a computer station and a story area.
