Text Box: Want to Know More About What it Means to be a Presbyterian?   Inquirer’s Class ~ August 22   On Sunday, August 22 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. there will be a special opportunity for visitors of our church to learn more about what it means to be a Presbyterian.  We will briefly review some of the distinct characteristics of Presbyterian beliefs, the history of the Presbyterian Church dating back to John Calvin and the Protestant Reformation, and finally we will explore the ministry, mission, and vision of First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, Tennessee.  Some of the attendees of this class will be coming with the intent to join our church.  Others may simply come to learn more about Presbyterianism.              If you are interested in joining this one-day class, please call or leave a message with David Cagle (245-0104, ext. 204), or write “Inquirer’s Class” by your name in the Fellowship Pad on a Sunday morning during worship, or email David at dcagle@firstpreskingsport.org.
