About David Cagle
David began his pastoral ministry in 1995 at Rockville Presbyterian Church in Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. David holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, and
has completed his doctoral studies at McCormick Theological Seminary, receiving his Doctorate of Ministry in Preaching in May 2006.
David describes his leadership style as follows: “I strive to be friendly and accessible; to listen to others, allowing them to fully and frankly express their ideas whether I agree or disagree; to develop confidence and trust with and among others; to seek solutions to problems that are at least acceptable to everyone; and to engage all of my relationships with maturity, dignity and character. I want to be a pastor who values everyone’s opinion”.
“People want to know you care before they care what you know. I practice a model of ministry, which stems from a caring heart…”
